Hello world!
December 10th, 2008Julie’s 1st Halloween Costume
October 25th, 2008This is Julie’s 1st Halloween costume made from an old sheer curtain. Yes you heard it right, from old sheer curtain!
I wasn’t driving yet and shy to asked hubby to drive me to the store. A week before Halloween I was folding the laundry and the old curtain caught in my eyes and got a bright idea! I even laughed at myself. To make the story short I grabbed the curtain and lay on the floor. I didn’t use any pattern, I just use my imagination. The wings were made of manila folder wrapped with left over curtain and hot glued with a lace and orange ribbons. She had a match hair clip too from the ribbon scraps.
What do you think? Hubby was really surprised about it. He said “very creative indeed!”
The Sprit of B.E.R … my Christmas Creations ‘07
September 1st, 2008Here are my 2007 Christmas Creations. GA here it is, your requested. Sorry ha natagalan. It’s a perfect timing though it’s September 1st wink*.
Friends don’t get mad at me for posting this so early; I’m not trying to remind you that Christmas is around the corner already. The fact is, times flies and there’s nothing we can about it. sigh***
This is the only tree Julie allowed to decorate wink* [tree given by my friend Lorna]
inside the china cabinet to give some color.
How I wished I can complete my Lenox Nativity. I could’ve but I just don’t want to buy the one made from China. All my Lenox collections are made from USA…I wanted to buy the 3 kings & kneeling angel but don’t have extra dough for it yet. Someday…
In some reason I just couldn’t get rid my x-mas tree skirt. This is the 1st x-mas skirt I made when I got my sewing machine. I used brown grocery bag for the pattern.
simple swag.
I really didn’t go crazy this year i guess. what do you think? |

August 25th, 2008Dresses I have sewn
August 23rd, 2008First Dress I made
August 22nd, 2008Julie- will get mad at me for posting this picture.
Here’s the first dress I made and sew by hand. It’s suppose to be for Liane’s doll but I accidentally made a little bigger and I tried it on to Julie and it’s perfectly fit. Isn’t she a doll? wink* Look at that mohawk hair. hahaha. She really hate this picture; actually all her baby pictures.
Anyway, when hubby saw me made the dress he was really amazed especially I sew it by hand and that moment he introduced me to an old electric sewing machine. And later on he bought me a real good one a PFAFF sewing machine made in Germany, he paid about $1500.00 back 1995. It was the best gift ever!
Can’t Stop
August 21st, 2008…making blogs! hahaha. No- I think this is going to be the last for now. wink* I’m suppose to change the layout of My Creations but end up on this new blog.
Thanks to all the lovely ladies, with their comments I made a place for my past hobbies. I really missed it, I am hoping I’ll have the time to sew again. Who knows Julie will let me sew her homecoming or prom dress.
Oh yeah- welcome friends!

BEIJING - So fair and foul and foul and fair a day we have not seen. Shakespeare penned that line to open MacBeth, but it applies perfectly to the day experienced by America’s Olympic women’s teams on Thursday. It was triumph followed by heartbreak followed by misery followed by ecstasy, a long and grinding day that reminded us why there is no real-life drama better than sports.
It was ladies’ day at the Olympics, the day on which four U.S. women’s teams were going for the gold, a day that was to confirm Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh as the greatest duo to ever mine gold in the sand and to crown the softball team as one of sports’ greatest dynasties, a day on which water polo would force its way into America’s list of favorite sports and the women of soccer would try not to lose too badly to mighty Brazil.
